Man is a being that craves for more and more once he achieves a feat. Candidates all over the world are now being drawn to certification programs for better and guaranteed opportunities at various private and public sectors like planning, construction, software, banking, etc. Project Management Institute offers various certification programs based on several purposes and qualifications, and not to mention course curriculums. CAPM is one of them. CAPM is the acronym for Certified Associate in Project Management. It is a certification process that is headed by Project Management Institute based in London. It is a part of the range of certifications they offer for the people working in project management besides others like PRINCE2, PMP, etc. This certification is opted for by candidates that are aiming for better job scopes and opportunities in project management fields irrespective of the years of experience they might have or have not gained. Aspirants both with and without any experience can go for this certification test, although the qualifications for both the group are a bit different. The exam fees come costly, but the resume comes embellished with outstanding jewel after this certification process.

This certificate guides the successful candidate through a mob to the topmost position without much hassle. In interviews, recruiters and interviewers prefer interviewees with this certification over other candidates. An overall personal development, along with features related to project management like risk management, profit maximization, etc., is the main focus field of the CAPM certification test.

The test consists of 150 questions, out of which 15 questions are of multiple-choice types. PMI allows a total duration of 3 hours for solving the paper.

As the certificate is valid only for 5 years, the professional is expected to achieve 15 Professional development units (professional development units) every three years to maintain the certificate’s validity. The 15 Professional development units are further subdivided into a Minimum of 9 education Professional development units and a Maximum of 6 giving back Professional development units.

Exam fee for the test application- The charges required to be deposited for the exam application again depend on the membership of the applicant. While a member needs to deposit a sum of ₹17377/- to take the test, a non-member has to deposit ₹23 169/- for the same.

Prerequisites required for appearing in the test- The qualifications that an applicant must have to appear for the test are again based on the experience he or she holds. An applicant with no experience at all must have a secondary degree like a high school diploma or equivalent along with twenty-three hours of project management education, while the experienced applicants need to possess a secondary degree along with 1500 hours of project management hours. Project management education generally refers to the credit hours of formal education on project management a candidate is required to obtain.

In PMI, ACP development is often still iterative and incremental for speed and learning purposes. And in these cases, development may have multiple releases to staging, or pilot, environment.

Verification is run for system-level requirements against use cases, and what this effect looks like are iterations between stage-gates. Each iteration, looking like a typical sprint, and this often is more successful in organizations that resist Agile because of leadership and governance.

So then, what are the major reasons that Agile fails? Here are some of the reasons. The organizational culture is at odds with Agile values. There is a general organizational resistance to change. There is inadequate management support. And finally, there is a lack of skills or experience with agile methods. These statistics show why the hybrid model is so popular among about half the practitioners of Agile in more traditional organizations. For these reasons, internal Agile is a great means of proving the effectiveness of the method when there’s no upper management support. Of course, the only means to truly achieve agility is to have both the support of leadership and effective Agile training.

PMP training is one of the few pieces of training that help you grow as an individual and not for any organization or company. They have a very vast scope for self-development and reconstruction. There is a growing demand for this certification these days. It perfectly fits into the needs and requirements of several companies and organizations.
