What is SSC GD qualification? Check Eligibility Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission has established the SSC GD Eligibility Criteria, which all applicants must meet. SSC GD Academic Qualification

  • You should have graduated from matriculation or Class 10 from an accredited board.
  • You cannot apply for the SSC GD Constable 2022 position if you will be taking your class 10th examination in 2022.

SSC GD Age Limit

The minimum age requirement for OBC, GEN, SC, ST, and other applicants to the SSC GD 2022 is as follows. Additionally, keep in mind that you must enter your name and birthdate exactly as they appear on your Class 10 diploma. The candidate’s age at the time of application must fall within the rigorous SSC GD age range, which is between 18 and 23 years old.

SSC GD Nationality

The following requirement in the SSC GD Eligibility must be met if you are applying for the SSC GD test. Any of the listed nationalities must be met by the candidate. You must provide your domicile/PRC in accordance with your State/UT since SSC GD positions are released according to State/UT.

  • An Indian citizen
  • Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently there; or
  • A person of Indian descent who moved to India permanently from Sri Lanka, East African Pakistan, Burma, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), and Vietnam.

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria: Physical Requirements

For applicants sitting the SSC GD test, the commission has established a physical eligibility standard. For both male and female applicants for SSC GD Constable, the physical standard requirements include height, chest expansion (only for male candidates), and eyesight. Weight

Vision

A constable has to have a strong vision, which is why the Commission has included a vision chart under the SSC GD Physical Eligibility. To be qualified for an appointment as a GD Constable in SSC, you must ensure that you meet the following eye vision requirements.

Included in the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test are

  • SSC GD Male Running Time: 5 km in 25 minutes, and 1 mile in 6 and a half minutes for the Ladakh area.
  • For the Ladakh area, the SSC GD female running time was 800m in 4 minutes and 1.6km in 8 and a half minutes.

Things to keep in mind about SSC GD Eligibility Criteria Physical Requirements

Candidates were unable to appeal their disqualification from the race, although they were able to do so before the Appellate Board on their height and chest measurement on the same day as PE and MT.

Under the SSC GD Physical Test, female candidates will not have their chests measured. Pregnant women’s applications will be denied since they are unable to participate in PE and MT. No representation or appeal will be considered in the case of such refusal.

You will not be allowed to take the SSC GD Physical Endurance and Measurement test if you use drugs.
